Been a whole month. Wow.
A combination of being sick (allergies) and being sick of the news (Iraqi Prison Scandal) has killed my desire to update.
But it's back, so woo-hoo!
Short teaser today to get you warmed up. I've decided that what I'm going to do from now until Election day is to help those friends of mine who know little of politics. See, everyone with the capacity to understand needs to vote come November. So I'm going to help ya'll choose between George W. Bush and John Kerry.
Each week (hopefully), I'll chose a topic. I will explain each candidates' record and stance on that topic. I will then post a little history on the topic as well as my own opinion to establish my bias. (Everyone has a bias: don't believe journalists who tell you they're above it.) This should allow you to come to your own conclusion in November.
I'll continue to try and comment on news events, the Houston Astros (for fun), and snippets about the happenings in my life if I can relate them to an important idea. In other words, no running commentary on my life: I'm not interested. I'll instead use my experiences as a reference point or analogy to help make a greater point.
The first topic I'll cover in the Bush vs. Kerry battle will be abortion (I figured I'd start with the A's and go down.) Be here, or I shall blast you with my spirit gun.
